01 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TecnoCore's Discord bot, web dashboard, and related services (together, the "Service"). By adding the TecnoCore bot to a Discord server, logging into the dashboard, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

If you're using the Service on behalf of a Discord server, organization, or company, you're confirming that you have the authority to accept these Terms on that entity's behalf.

02 The Service

TecnoCore lets server owners and staff build surveys, deploy them into a Discord server as native embeds, collect and reward responses, and review results through a web dashboard. The Service also includes optional add-ons such as live chat translation, an anti-raid honeypot trap, giveaways with a draw wheel, a public leaderboard with player search, and a personal Game Keys Vault for storing and delivering prize keys, where enabled.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll try to avoid removing something you actively rely on without notice, but the Service is provided on an evolving basis and specific features aren't guaranteed to remain available indefinitely.

03 Your Relationship with Discord

TecnoCore is an independent bot and is not operated, endorsed, or certified by Discord Inc. Your use of Discord itself is governed by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which apply in addition to these Terms. Actions TecnoCore takes on your server, such as posting messages, assigning roles, or moderating a trapline channel, are performed using permissions you grant when you invite and configure the bot, and you're responsible for configuring those permissions appropriately for your server.

04 Accounts & Eligibility

You access the dashboard by authenticating through Discord. You must comply with Discord's minimum age requirements to use the Service. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, and for keeping your Discord account secure. We can't recover access for you if your Discord login is compromised.

Certain areas of the dashboard (Owner Panel, Staff Board, Analytics) are restricted based on your role on a given server or your relationship with TecnoCore, and access to them may change if that role changes.

05 Your Content & Survey Data

"Your Content" means the surveys, questions, branding, and templates you create, and the responses your members submit. You retain ownership of Your Content. By using the Service, you grant TecnoCore a license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service, for example rendering a survey as a Discord embed or showing analytics on your dashboard.

If you publish a survey template to the public template gallery, you're granting other users of the Service a license to view and use that template. You're responsible for making sure Your Content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights and doesn't violate Section 6.

Survey responses are personal data belonging to the members who submit them. Server owners and staff who can view responses are responsible for handling that data appropriately and in compliance with applicable law. See our Privacy Policy for how TecnoCore itself handles data.

Game keys/codes you load into your Game Keys Vault remain yours - you're responsible for having the right to distribute them, and for who you grant access to your vault. Anyone you grant vault access to can view, add, and deliver keys within it on your behalf; you can revoke that access at any time from within the vault itself.

06 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Build or deploy surveys that harass, defame, deceive, or collect data from members without a legitimate basis;
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law;
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or feature gates through automation, multiple accounts, or exploiting bugs;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure, or probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization;
• Use the honeypot trap, translation tools, or any other feature to target, deceive, or entrap real members rather than bots or bad actors;
• Load keys you don't have the right to distribute into a Game Keys Vault, or use vault access someone else granted you to remove, redirect, or hand out their keys for purposes they didn't authorize;
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our prior written consent.

07 Plans, Billing & Cancellation

TecnoCore offers a free tier alongside paid plans that unlock higher limits and additional features (such as custom branding, scheduling, skip logic, multi-language surveys, advanced analytics, and API access). Feature availability and limits for each plan are shown in the dashboard and may be updated from time to time.

Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices may change; we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on your account.

Cancellation & downgrades

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the Account or Subscription page. Cancelling stops future billing; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your server(s) will revert to the free tier's limits. Content or configuration that exceeds free-tier limits (extra surveys, extra servers) may become read-only or inaccessible until you either remove the excess or resubscribe.

Refunds

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused features.

08 Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server(s) and, if you wish, requesting deletion of your account data. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service or a feature you rely on, and where practical we'll provide notice first.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply after your access ends.

09 Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that survey data, analytics, or automated actions (such as role rewards or trapline bans) will be perfectly accurate or timely.

You're responsible for reviewing automated actions the bot takes on your server, including bans issued through the honeypot trap, and for maintaining your own backups of anything mission-critical.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TecnoCore and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or members, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent any liability isn't excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or £50, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, notify you through the dashboard or another reasonable channel. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12 Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, mandatory consumer protections in your home nation may still apply.
